Welcome Bulldogs!
Hi! My name is Ms. Crofford and I am THRILLED to be your third grade teacher! It’s going to be a year full of lots of learning and new adventures, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN and I am the oldest of three. I have two younger sisters, Morgan and Molly. I moved to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama where I majored in Elementary Education. I could not wait to begin my teaching career. I graduated in 2011 and began teaching at Verner Elementary. I decided to go back to school while teaching and earned my Masters degree in Elementary Education.
I am so excited to finally be back home in Nashville. I have enjoyed Tuscaloosa, but I am glad to be closer to family and friends. Waverly- Belmont is a huge part of the reason I decided to move back home. I believe we have the best faculty and principal around!
I absolutely love teaching 3rd grade. I have taught both 2nd and 4th grade. Therefore, I know just where you are coming from and exactly where you need to go. I am excited to help challenge you to reach for the stars this year.
A terrific year is planned, and I know that you are going to be very successful. I've created this blog to help keep you up-to-date and in-the-know with all our class happenings! Please check the blog often, as the content and reminders will change from week to week.
